This story really happened. It was written in the Bible by Moses.

How wonderful it was for Adam and Eve to live in this beautiful garden. This garden was called "the Garden of Eden". The most happiest was that God was going with them when they went for a walk outside. He simply talked to this man and woman. They knew: God loves us, and we love God and each other. There were so many beautiful flowers and also all kinds of trees, with delicious fruit. They were allowed to simply pick them and eat them. God had created all of this on the third day. There stood two very special trees in the middle of the garden. God called one tree: the tree of LIFE. That other tree was a tree of death. God said that this tree teaches you what is good and what is evil.

Those trees looked beautiful, and delicious fruit grew on them too. God said that Adam and Eve were allowed to eat from all the trees, except for the tree of good and evil. For if they were to do that, death would enter their lives. They would also learn evil. So, beware Adam and Eve, do not eat from that tree!
